Owl Get Well Card

I have seen many Owl Get Well Cards on Splitcoast and Pinterest!  They are so cute!  I had to try one especially since I needed one for someone who is recovering from a fall.  The Stampin Up Owl punch is one of my favorite punches!  I used silver paper for the stethoscope for Dr. Owl - on just the "scope" part.  I hand cut the nurses cap on Nurse Owl.  This was just a fun card to make!

Dress Shoes!

I have been having fun with Ellen Hutson's fabulous shoe template! I found the template on Splitcoast Stampers.  You can find the template here:
It's been fun playing with different types of card stock with these shoes.  The glitter paper is a little harder to manuever but I really liked the result.  I am sure I will play with this template some more.  I haven't done this but I think I will put the sentiment on the bottom of the shoe!

Here are a few pictures of our weekend with our grandson, Ezra!  He was here just for an overnight but we had fun!  We gave Ezra several options on things to do while he was here, the animal farm (my favorite) a local carnival in town for the weekend, Chucky Cheese and mini golf. What did he pick?  GOLF!  Tom was happy!

Warm up for mini golf!
Good form!

On to mini golf!

Graduation Owls

My niece, Emma, is graduating from Middle School this week! I wanted to make her a fun card for this special event!  I have seen many Graduating Owls this past month on Splitcoast and Pinterest.  My sister, Rochelle, made the cutest owl card and it inspired me to make this card for Emma.  Check out Rochelle's card here-

It is made with Stampin Up's owl punch.  I love using this punch!  It can make all sorts of things besides owls.  I have seen flowers, penquins and even bats!  This punch is one of my favorite!
Here is a picture of the front of my card-  I hope Emma likes it!

Father's Day!

If you travel on Route One in Freeport- you have to stop at Cindy's!  They have the best Fried Clams!   It  is not a fancy place at all but those are the kind of places in Maine that can have the best food- Cindy's certainly has great food!

The coleslaw and Fish Chowder are wonderful!  This is my husband's favorite place to get Fried Clams!  He waits all winter for Cindy's to open.   This is his Father's Day treat!  You have to love the decor!

I am sure alot of people would not stop here because it is not a fancy looking place.  But you are missing out if you come to Maine and don't stop here.  LL Bean is about 2 miles down the road-another Maine landmark.

Our Grandson, Ezra, stayed with us last weekend!  I love it when he comes to visit.  This is the 1st ice cream cone he has eaten and not made a supreme mess all over the place.  Boo Hoo... I think that means he is growing up!  Not sure I like that so much!

He is getting every bite!  I have been goofing off lately!  I am working on several things...just can't seem to complete anything.  I will be uploading soon but I wanted to share these photos.  I hope everyone is having a fabulous Father's Day!  I miss my own Dad on Father's Day.  I have wonderful memories of time spent with my Father.  I will love him always!

Callie's Birthday!

My daughter will turn 30 on June 7th!  It is hard to believe!  Where have the years gone?  She is married and has a little one of her own now.  But I still remember the days when she was just a little tyke.  My Mom & Dad used to say, " Enjoy these days because they go by so fast"! As usual, they were so right!  I made her what she would call a "Girlie" card.  I couldn't help it! I found Kellie Reynold's youtube tutorials on how to make 3D couture dresses!  Her instructions are easy to follow and her dresses are fabulous!   She has done  11 video tutorials of these dresses.   They are all adorable!  Check out her 11th video here-
